Past: Cosimo used to be a lover, not a fighter. He was the kind one out of the two brothers. He showed compassion and kindness, unlike his cruel brother. Cosimo used to believe in soul mates; in the one person you were destined to be with forever. And when he met Reyna, he thought he’d found his. But it turns out his brother had his eyes on her as well. Cosimo blamed him for stealing Reyna away from him when they were clearly in love. According to Cosimo, Dante had stolen away his life. Cosimo made a point not to look at, let alone speak to his older brother, hating him for what he did. And Reyna would barely even look in his direction. What had Dante done?

Present: Cosimo still hates his brother for his ‘actions.’ Now he believes that he is in a battle for her heart with his own brother. What Cosimo doesn’t seem to realize is that Reyna is watching with a smirk of accomplishment as they each try and show each other up in their attempts to win her affections. Even if Cosimo did know of her ways, he would still love her. He loves her with everything in his being and he’s not willing to give her up. Not now, not ever.
